Rebecca is a licensed immigration attorney in the Washington, DC area and a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.
She earned a political science degree with a focus in international affairs from Notre Dame of Maryland University in 2009.
While working toward her degree, Rebecca traveled to Mexico and later to Guatemala where she worked with local nonprofit organizations to serve indigenous communities. Rebecca graduated from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law in 2015, where she worked in the school’s immigration and HIV/AIDS legal clinics.
Rebecca has a well-developed background in legislative advocacy, policy analysis, whistleblower law, and nonprofit lobbying. She is passionate about advocating for the rights of immigrants, the LGBTIQ community, women and girls, and clean energy technology.
