Manuel Martínez, Data Entry & Outreach Coordinator
Manuel is majoring in Foreign Affairs and International Trade with a minor in French Language at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. His senior thesis focuses on the promotion of human rights for LGBT+ minorities by local governments in Mexico and Japan. He is an avid language learner, fluent in Spanish, English, and French and working on improving his Japanese, German, and Portuguese. He has previously worked as a Global Talent Coordinator for AIESEC in the Mexican city of Monterrey, promoting multicultural internships abroad for the local youth. He is passionate about social causes, having previously volunteered as an English to Spanish translator for Handicap International and the United Nations Volunteering System. He believes in the importance of giving back to local communities and empowering citizenry to enhance their own well-being.
