Emilio Araujo, Individual Giving Fundraising Intern
Emilio Araujo is a recent graduate of Pomona College in Claremont, California, where he studied History and Spanish as a Posse Scholar. He has worked in nonprofit development and fundraising at the Draper Center for Community Partnerships and Posse Chicago. Emilio plans to harness these experiences to support AsylumConnect as well as learn new technical media skills and digital outreach strategies. He hopes to one day be the director of a nonprofit which helps provide education access to marginalized youth. Outside of work Emilio spends his time hanging out with family and friends (virtually during quarantine), playing basketball and board games, and making music.
