Alyssa grew up in the suburbs of Boston, just a bus ride away from Harvard Square. She graduated from Clark University in Worcester with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She found herself back in the Boston area to pursue a career spanning operations, sales and marketing with mission driven organizations. Her career has taken her from a research institute working towards impactful change in the HIV/AIDS healthcare space (The Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard) to a software company that supports healthcare provider organizations serving persons with disabilities and aging adults.
You can often find her volunteering at her local yoga studio, traveling across the globe, or supporting her favorite thrift store, Boomerangs, an initiative that provides funding to AIDS Action in partnership with Fenway Health to support the wellbeing of the LGBTQ community.
Alyssa looks forward to using her diverse skill set to support AsylumConnect’s LGBTQ asylum seeker community.
