AsylumConnect Releases Improved Resource Catalog for LGBTQ Asylum
How to Use the New AsylumConnect Catalog
On April 30, 2019, the AsylumConnect team released an improved version of the first ever online resource database for LGBTQ asylum.
USE ASYLUMCONNECT TO FIND VERIFIED LGBTQ- AND IMMIGRANT-FRIENDLY SERVICES
Step 1: Select your preferred language and the country you’re searching for help in.
Step 2: Enter your location into the resource catalog.
Step 3: Select all of the verified service types you are searching for from the drop-down menu.
Step 4: Select all of the Additional Filters that apply to you from the drop-down menu.
Step 5: Click on the blue “See more information” text under any organization’s name in the search results to learn more about its services and visit instructions.
Step 6: Click on the Visit section to learn more about the organization’s general operating hours, locations and contact information.
Step 7: Click on any of the services listed under the Services section on an organization’s profile page to learn more about a specific program.
Each service page also has more information on the specific program, including: a description of the service, who the service can help and the type of support offered.
