AsylumConnect joins USCRI network as Allied Agency
AsylumConnect Joins U.S. Committee on Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) Network
In March 2018, AsylumConnect officially joined the U.S. Committee on Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) network as an Allied Agency. AsylumConnect is now part of a coalition of advocates committed to the collective goal of strengthening the voices of refugees and immigrants everywhere.
For over a century, USCRI has been serving uprooted people. USCRI continues to provide tools and opportunities for self-sufficiency to refugees and immigrants nationwide, fight refugee warehousing around the world, serve victims of human trafficking, and protect the rights of unaccompanied immigrant children. USCRI’s network currently includes over 50 agencies.
For over a century, USCRI has worked to protect the rights and address the needs of persons in forced or voluntary migration worldwide and support their transition to a dignified life.
AsylumConnect is excited to join such a passionate and committed network of refugee and immigrant rights advocates. AsylumConnect looks forward to collaborating with agencies across the country and continuing to spread the word about its resource catalog for LGBTQ asylum seekers in the U.S.
