Join the 2021 AsylumConnect Junior Board for Young Professionals

The AsylumConnect Junior Board is a group of young professionals committed to supporting AsylumConnect’s critical work through fundraising, networking and marketing.

In 2020, we launched our inaugural Junior Board in NYC of young professionals from McKinsey, Twitter, Jones Day, UN Women, Google, Mount Sinai Hospital, and more. Our goal is to build a national movement and mobilize hundreds of young professionals to serve as ambassadors in their local communities for the world’s first tech resource platform designed for those fleeing persecution due to LGBTQ+ status.

During 2021, the AsylumConnect Junior Board program will be open to young professionals (ages 21 to 40) located anywhere in the United States. All programming will be virtual, with optional in-person meet-ups throughout the year.

Time Commitment:

  • Our Junior Board members commit ~3-5 hours per month to AsylumConnect.
  • During 2021, Junior Board members will attend monthly remote meetings via Zoom (1.5 hour per meeting) and supplementary meetings as needed.

Membership Dues Requirement:

Join a remote nationwide coalition of young professionals passionate about LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights!
